Trade Show Liability Insurance Coverages

Liability insurance is essential for event organizers as it provides protection against potential legal and financial liabilities stemming from accidents, injuries, or property damage that may occur during the show. General Liability protects against claims related to third-party bodily injury and property damage. Our standard General Liability coverage includes a blanket additional insured endorsement, enabling you to designate the manager, lessor, or owner of your event venue, as well as the city or local municipality, as additional insured parties at no additional cost to fulfill contractual obligations.

The standard general liability policy includes host liquor coverage at no added charge, which applies to third-party bodily injury or property damage claims associated with alcohol consumption, provided you are not engaged in selling or serving alcohol for profit at your birthday party. Typical scenarios include events with BYOB (bring your own bottle) or open bar events where attendees do not buy drink tickets or gain access to the bar through ticket purchases for the event.

An endorsement to the general liability policy that waives the birthday party insurance carrier’s right to seek compensation for losses from a negligent third party after paying out a claim. May be included for an additional premium when required by written contract in favor of the manager, lessor, or owner of your event venue as well as the city or local municipality.

An endorsement to the general liability policy that designates the coverage as primary and non-contributory over other insurance policies held by the policy holder in favor of additional insured entity. If you or your business profits from selling or serving alcohol at the covered event, it is essential to have full retail liquor liability coverage included in your policy. This additional coverage is available for an extra premium on top of the base general liability policy.

Liability coverage that sits on top of the primary general liability occurrence and aggregate limits to fulfill higher limit requirements mandated in contracts. Excess / umbrella liability limits up to $10 million available for additional premium, subject to underwriter approval offline.
